PrintBoss Fax Configuration - Selected Device box

Hi all,
Printboss installed on a Windows 7 workstation. When I goto the PrintBoss Fax Configuration screen, the Selected Device box is filled with what appears to be Chinese characters. if I attempt a fax test, it prompts me for a device and in that drop down I can see my local modem. If I select that local modem it faxes fine.
The problem is if I goto fax a batch of invoices out, it will prompt for the device on each invoice before sending. Again I can pick my modem on the screen that pops up, however I cannot set the default device in the configuration screen.
I have attached a picture of the config screen showing the jiberish.
Any ideas???
