PrintBoss cannot override the printer settings. Specifically, PrintBoss cannot turn off duplex if it is set as β€˜on’ at the printer.
Also, PrintBoss can only select a different tray when a specific printer is selected in the PrintBoss Form on the Multi-Parts & Printers tab.

A customer recently replaced their printer. They've been using PrintBoss for a while to print multiple copies of the Sales Order confirmation.

The new printer's default setting is to print in duplex mode and their IT department has been trying to get PB to over-ride that setting. (With it set to duplex, copy 2 prints on the back of copy 1, etc.). They tell me it "doesn't save" the setting changes they have made.

The same with the printer drawer - the new printer has 2, and the pre-collated paper is in drawer 2, but the default on the printer is drawer 1, and PB is pulling from that drawer instead of the one they want.

Shouldn't we be able to override those printer default settings by updating PB?

Sorry for the newbie question...I sort of am one.

Thanks.
