When setting up PrintBoss to pull check paper from a specific tray, the setting must be done in the PrintBoss Form Editor, on the Multi-parts & Printers tab. On this tab there is a drop down list for the printer, and once the printer is selected, you can then select the tray. Also, the checkbox to enable tray selection is on the PrintBoss, Options, Configuration, Internal tab. Click the box there to Save Printer Settings.

Hello,
I have an office running PrintBoss with Quickbooks both from a server location. The printer is a Xerox 7225 that has tray 2 set up with a custom configuration to pull checkstock. Printboss, the printer on the QB server and on the users local machine are all set to default to tray 2 for the checkstock. The checks are printing correctly, except not pulling from tray 2, hence not on the checkstock. Could I have missed a setting somewhere?
