After entering a 4-segmented dotted numeric address or the URL name (e.g. mail.yourcompany.com) click the ‘Get Host Capabilities’ button to verify that the URL is correct.
Clicking on this button returns a list of the authentication services running on the host and confirms the URL address. The list will be unique for each site. The User ID and password are not necessary for authentication.
Click ‘Test Connection’ button to verify the User ID and Password are valid. The Password is not necessary when your e-mail account does not have a password.
PrintBoss not support STARTTLS (Transport Layer Security) at this time. If STARTTLS is an authentication service running on the server, it can cause ‘Test Connection’ failures, and may result in an unauthorized user error.
