For both Windows 7 and Windows 8 the PrintBoss Transfer File location should be {ComAppData\...\Transfer}. This setting is on the PrintBoss\Options\PrintBoss Driver Settings tab. And while this has been the default setting for a number of years, if you are updating PrintBoss from an older version or if you are installing PrintBoss on new hardware, the old setting (most commonly C:\Transfer) does NOT automatically change to the new setting.
Here is what you can do. Test all the required user permissions by opening PrintBoss to the Master Application. Place your cursor on the window and hold Ctrl-Shift-P. This will open the Permissions Analyzer. Note in particular the Transfer folder and Spool folder location. Verify and change the setting if necessary. Restart the print spooler service (or re-boot the workstation) before the user begins testing.
