Whether or not you need multiple PrintBoss licenses really depends on your setup. If you are able to remotely login to a server or shared network driver where QuickBooks and PrintBoss are both installed, you only need 1 license. The tool you use for the remote login will make your local printers available for PrintBoss to print checks. However, we normally recommend the Enterprise edition of PrintBoss for this configuration as the printers are often ‘redirected’ or change ‘session’ IDs. PrintBoss is literal with printer names, so redirected or session IDS require the destination printer in PrintBoss to be reselected for each remote login.

Good afternoon,
We have a client we work with in Virginia and we print checks through a printshare program to a printer up there. At my firm there are three people who work on the account, so any one of them may need to print checks. How is the software handled in this situation. Do I have to have three licenses for $150 a piece?
