The issue is with the raw data sent by the crystal report engine. Since this issue does not occur with server 2008, we have no plans to investigate this further.

Hi Paula, remove the "Can Grow" option solved our problem. But we need that option to be set. Do you plan to slove this issue in a future release or fix? edited by snormand on 8/25/2011

Eva – Thank you for your post. At times there have been anomalies with accents in Windows 2003. Please check the affected fields in the crystal report for the following: 1. The field cannot be set to Can Grow 2. The data must be entered as a formula If this is not successful, please call our technical support group for further assistance.

Hi, We have an issue where we are printing to file and to email and foreign ascii characters like März or méd come out correctly in the name of the pdf file that is attached to the email and in the message body but in the subject line and in the pdf file that is saved to file, it is replacing the special characters with ??? and squares and not recognising the special characters as you can see in the attached image. This is happening on a windows server 2003 and doesn't happen with the same crystal spec and PrintBoss settings when I run it on my machine. Any assistance would be gratefully accepted. Regards Eva
