PrintBoss generates emails from each computer using the email feature in PrintBoss. This occurs during the print process. You are correct that each computer IP address will need to be added in order to send email from that computer.
The body of the email and the PDF file are generated on the server, but the send mail function is at the local computer unless users are logging on to a Citrix server.

We've opened up Exchange Server to allow emails to be sent from certain IP addresses. Which brought up the question; when a user prints to PrintBoss, the email is generated on the client computer, not the server where the shared files are stored, correct? So we'll need to add the IP address of each computer to that list where they will be printing to PrintBoss, not the IP of the server?

We do have clients using Exchange Servers. By default, however, Exchange Servers do not allow for mail relay. You will need to open up the Exchange Server for mail relay. Here are the menu choices from an earlier version of Exchange that seemed to work.
System Manager (Storage Group) or (Administrative Group / Servers / <SpecificMailServer> ) Protocals SMTP Protocal SMTP Virtual Server (Right Click Properties) Click on "Access" tab Click on Relay Restrictions Add the appropriate PC/Group/Domain

Hi, Am I right in assuming PrintBoss does not support Exchange to send emails?
