Sage 50 Cheque missing the date

I am using Sage 50 and PrintBoss. I am able to produce an almost perfect check, except it does not have the date. Just MMDDYYYY.
When I change print settings and print to a local printer (without going through the printboss driver), the date is there. So, Sage50 is sending the date, but PrintBoss is not putting it onto the paper.
I've looked through the settings, configuration, etc. and can't find any checkbox or field that asks about printing the date.
Anybody have a solution?
