PrintBoss software will read and process several types of signature files. You can create your own signature file in a BMP, JPG, or PCX format. The signature graphic should be sized to fit on the check. Generally 1 inch X 3 inches will work best. Place your signature file in the PrintBoss\Logos folder. Then Edit your PrintBoss form and add a #PIC line to the form giving the initial coordinates of 4.7 inches from the Left and 9.8 inches from the Top for a standard bottom check. It will look like this:

#Pic 4.7, 9.8, "Your_Sig.PCX", ,,

Alternatively, Wellspring Software, Inc. can create a secure, encrypted signature file and an associated media device that, when used together will print the signature on checks. The PrintBoss signature file is readable only by PrintBoss and the process is secured by several PrintBoss features.
