Alternatively, as long as you are sure that the printer settings are NOT set to duplexing in the Windows printer driver, you can usually just “toggle” the printer selection within the PB Printer Setup (meaning, just change the printer to anything else, save it, come back in, and set it back to the original printer selection) and that will force PB to read the current state of the printer settings again.

Until the next version is released, PrintBoss holds on to the printer settings if the printer was at one time set to Duplex. The solution is to open Options/Configuration and select the Internal tab. Remove the checkbox for ‘Save Printer Settings’ in the top right corner and click OK, then close PrintBoss. This will clear the settings. They can go back and res-select ‘Save Printer Settings’ if they need to set printer trays.

I’m a 3rd party IT provider who supports a number of small businesses. I’ve never run into PrintBoss before and don’t know much about it except that one of our customers uses it with quickbooks to print checks and for whatever reason it is printing on both sides of the page, which is not a good thing. Is there documentation available so that I can read up before calling them back All I want to do is force single sided printing.
Thanks,
