The perforation lines for our standard checks are not in equal parts as you have discovered. They are designed to remove the top stub and retain as a copy. The bottom two sections of the check will fit in our window envelopes and display both the Payee address and the return address. Using PrintBoss, placement of the addresses can be modified if necessary.

I am working with Check Style #53225 and am trying to figure out what envelope size they were designed to fit.

If we tri-fold the check exactly on the two perforations, the checks will *not* fit a standard Commercial #9 envelope.

Is there another recommended envelope size?

Or where these checks designed to be folded to fit a #9, ignoring the perforation placement?
